The Tide of Changes..

All changes, even the most longed for, have their melancholy; for what we leave behind us is a part of ourselves; we must die to one life before we can enter another. – Anatole France

Changes. One thing that scared most people. Being in a comfort zone can be lulling; making you numb, slow, and unable to see more than what you’re capable off. Yet this lulling sensation is what we all clinging for, and what we can’t bear to let go.

Or at least you. Not me. See? I can change my theme just like that when I feel like it! tongue

(Ok. Drama tak jadik. I can see that you’re not even laughing. Bad joke).

Anyway, as you can see, there’s been some changes in the blog theme again. Changelog:

  1. Theme being used now is: GreenPark2 by Cordobo.
  2. Advertisement by Nuffnang is back on the sidebar.
  3. Google Adsense is back for individual post.
  4. Imported all the content from my old blog (re-arrange.blogspot.com) to here. Now I have 100 posts! Yeay!
  5. Added plugins for navigation. See the numbers at the bottom of the page?
  6. Added plugins to transform the emoticons to Yahoo! Messenger emoticons. hee hee

Woo hoo! I wasted my weekends doing this!

….

….

(geek)

Anyway, I just gotta try the emoticons. So here goes…

happy tongue laughing rolling on the floor shame on you peace sign whistling kiss love struck big hug not worthy frustrated devil

And this emoticons also worked for the comments. Yeay! big grin

That’s it. I’m done. My blog is combined with Facebook and Twitter, and I controlled both network to only people that I know only. So.. yep, that’s good enough. Performance-wise should be good too, have evaluated all the plugins and ads, and shouldn’t give any problem (if you find anything, or if its slow suddenly.. let me know!)

P/s: I decided not to put the chatbox again. Too many spam I can’t stand it. I know my friends know how to reach me. happy

I feel like this theme is kinda dull..

Maybe this weekend might be a good time to change it again.. hehehe tongue On the other hand, that will keep me occupied during the first and second day of fasting. Hmm.. not bad idea.

Just hoping that the network will be good, and I will not have to chase the network away from my brother(s).

Pfft!

P/s: Happy fasting to all who are supposed to fast. happy

Edited (23 Aug 2009) – First theme changed.

Singapore – Work and a little leisure..

I went to Singapore to attend IBM Software Technical Conference at Crowne Hotel early this month (5th and 6th of August). Nothing much to talk – it was work.  So I just supply you with some stuff that happened and some pitcah – and that should be it, right? tongue

What went down..

1) Monday evening – @1730 hours,  was onboard the flight to Singapore, but……….. the plane goddamn broke its ventilation system and we end up sweating for freaking 1 hours! Then only our plane got transferred and we ride another plane at 1930 hours! In my mind at that time.. (macam naik bas plak boleh tukar2 plane sesuka hati. haramjad!)

2) Reach Singapore around 2130 hours, checked into the hotel (which at the airport too, so literally I don’t go out of Changi at all) and was very in awe (check the picture of the hotel! It’s freaking awesome!! I want to go honeymoon there again after I got married! tongue)

3) Some more details: the hotel was facing the airport, and we can see the flights taking off all the time. Plus their terminal train connecting each platform.. its just  SUPER cool!

4) Then there goes the work. Bla bla bla bla bla bla. Meh! We didn’t went anywhere except the hotel room and the conference. This happened on Tuesday and Wednesday

5) Wednesday evening – only then we got the chance to walk around the town. Went to Orchard (window shopping only – I keep counting the conversion rate which makes it a turn-off to buy anything. Oh, end up buying some keychain only tongue). Went to Little India (to eat some real rice. The briyani rice is nice!). And then went to Clarke Quay (it was damn happening and full of lights! Likey likey likey!)

6) Back to Malaysia on Thursday evening. Again, the flight delayed three times! It was supposed to go at 0130, only to be delayed three times until 0330! I hereby declared that MAS is the king of delay!

That’s it! Enjoy the pitcah!  (oh.. I’ve hide it under the Read More…winking » Read more: Singapore – Work and a little leisure..
