Sometimes we need some timeout from our routines just to adjust ourself back on track. Routines can kill you out of boredom, you know. Office stupid politics, girls being “super-fucking-bitchy” when it comes to works, emotions, plus the PMS, men being extra loudmouth for small issue such as the women outfits being “too western” whatsoever.
I am currently tired of having to deal with routines. Furthermore, the superbly annoying days when you feel that you just don’t want to wake up to face all the shits. So I am taking opportunities to enjoy myself out of routines just to let the steam out of my system.
Thanks to Ayuni for supplying some movies and tv-series. I’ve been dying to spend my time laying around watching stuffs. And guess what did Ayuni supply me? KAMI!
I thought that this is some girlish tv series like “Puteri” by Nora Danish or whatnot. Add that to Uda’s YM status of saying that “Ali and Abu is so cute!”, I was thinking that KAMI features some babyish stuff that contains.. babies. Guess I was wrong.
It’s about a group of teenagers on their journey of finding the true meaning of life, with obsessions of music, and their ups and downs in the life – including drugs problem, people’s acceptance, family problems, peer influence. Most of it reflects what I call “the current lifestyle”.
And its way of showing the casts’ life colliding into each other before they become friends are goddamn good. Not to mention its flashback stuff too.
Rating – 7/10. Not bad for a Malaysian tv series. At last we can come out with something other than crappy love stuffs (but its still there in Kami. Well maybe we’re not totally free from that topic).
My favourite in this series? I love Lynn! “Garang… tapi cute!“. Sofie’s super-fuckin goddamn hot, but, nahh.. the attitudes being cast are not as good as Lynn in that movie.
Now, after watching that, I feel like going to gigs and concert again after so long not going into one!! Anyone up for MCR Concert and Live & Loud KL? C’mon I need some escape! ![]()
