Devil: Movie Review

How ironic it is to watch a horror movie about satanism and devils on the Raya? Sure beats the feeling of loneliness with some stupid screams.

No, it’s not that scary. Yes, it supposed to be a horror/thriller movie. Yes, it is directed by M Night Shyamalan. No, it’s not the best masterpiece of Night even though you can get some good screams.

Is it good? So-so. Personally I hate the ending. But the storyline develops quite good and you can manage to get some good screams in the first hour. And copying the winning formula of “Phone Booth” (anyone remember this movie where the story revolves around a phone booth?) and “Final Destination”, I can say it is a good B-rated movie.

Oh what’s the story about? The story played on the event where the devil himself comes down to earth to punish the bad people. Easy storyline of peoples getting killed by the devil in a lift, yet the people don’t know who is the devil.

Would I recommend this movie? Yeah if you have nothing else to do. Don’t put any hopes at all while watching this movie. That way, you can get a good scream.

P/s: Movie review is a good way to start writing again after a long holiday. No, no, I am still vacationing.

Innity Got Malware – Are You Infected?

Aha. If your most favourite sites are suddenly inaccessible due to this warning, do not worry. It looks like Innity ads network is under attack of who-knows-what malware, so most probably your favourite site is running this Innity ads.

This problem is affecting most sites whether you’re self hosting it or you’re hosting with the free provider e.g Google. Blogs, community network, and every sites that monetize with Innity seems affected. This includes sites using Blogger, WordPress, or self build portal.

Funny thing is this filter is churned out by Google, but it also flags its own blogging services. laughing

Some of the sites I frequently visit that shows this warning including Obefiend and Kapasitor.net. I noticed that Oh!Media networks are effected too (including justkhai.com, ohtidak.com and all those oh!something etc).

For websites administrator, here’s the way on how to rectify it before Innity removes the codes in their servers:

  1. Remove the codes of Innity widget that you have in your site (entirely).
  2. Ask Google to reconsider your websites by following this guide: Requesting reconsideration of your site
  3. Wait at least a day (or a week by Google’s definition)

Either that, or you can wait Innity to remove that malware in their servers and get the warnings of your websites. Once Innity remove that malware, your site might get indexed properly again and no filters will block your site anymore.

The thing with waiting the Google spider to recrawl your site — unless your site is popular (with pagerank 3 or higher, I guess), or you do the manual / auto ping; it might not crawl your websites again. Well that’s my speculation anyway. tongue

So, check your blogs guys! Are you infected? I’m not since I don’t use Innity (maklumlah, tak ramai orang baca pun so tak dapat join Innity kohkohkoh tongue)
