On Hiatus - Network Problem, Work Schedule, etc.

I hate to admit, but I know I’ve been neglecting my own self hosted blog for a while now. I also hate to be said as “people who ranted and give excuses”, but damn it - just got too many things out of hands currently!

There’s two reasons why I can’t get to blog often currently:

  1. Bloody stupid Streamyx that doesn’t give me a stable connection! *scream*
  2. Work schedule that seems never stops (which also prevent me from blogging in the office)

………………………………..

………………………………..

Okay, here’s the story on the first reason:

I can’t get a stable connection with Streamyx - that means I got disconnected after about 10 minutes of  connection. Then it will try to reconnect (that takes me from 10 minutes and worst come to worst, never got reconnected).

The problem seems more prudent when I connect to my YM, Gmail, or any chat applications. Oh, not to mention, it happens when I’m surfing Web 2.0 based sites too! This includes Facebook, Squidoo, or any other blogs (especially Blogger blog). Downloads? Bah!

Tried to reset the connection by resetting the modem, and it didn’t work. Tried replacing the cables, also not working.

I am now surveying other ISP that can give me a stable connection so that I can get back to my own regular life.

Reason #2: Work schedule in office

Things got out of hands pretty quickly after Raya - what with all the Academic Initiative thingy, PureXML competition, and others. Not to mention my targets for producing collaterals also hanging by a thin thread I called time.

Yes, I am running out of time to complete my target for the year. Oh god bless me with extra power please!

And that’s a good reason enough not to be blogging in the office for now. Shayte.

*************************************************************************

Thus, I am declaring myself on hiatus - will be away from blogging quite a while now. I am also thinking of redesigning my theme and make it more faster + cleaner. The result of my playing around gives an impact to the performance and beauty, methink.

Help is appreciated if you can suggest me a good ISP that can provide me with stable and fast connection.

Sorry guys, I hope you’ll be returning to this blog once everything is back to normal. Thanks!

    Perhaps that’s why when the child asked his father (in Telekom’s Raya commercial);

    “Telefon pun tak..?”

    The father silenced..

    Because the answer is clear..

    TM sux!
